As the new coronavirus outbreak spreads, people are trying to protect themselves. Some are using disposable gloves, but doctors warn that it's not a solution.

Hand glove is not going to do anything but give people a false sense of security,create more waste for LAWMA and create more demand for something that's unnecessary.
They're not designed for going out, running up stairs, doing things in daily life.

Disposable hand glove could create a new surface for the virus to live on, which people might contaminate themselves with when taking off gloves or touching surfaces.
The best thing to do is keep hands clean, preferably by washing them for at least 20 seconds at a time,soap and water removes droplets more effectively.

People should also avoid touching their faces, especially their eyes, noses and mouths.

Lagos Government seals Oko Oba Abattoir over unhygienic practices

Lagos State Government on Thursday announced the shutdown of the Oko-Oba abattoir over unsanitary activities, waste mismanagement and unhygienic handling of animal products. The Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has called on residents to properly bag and dispose of their waste, through their PSP operators, during and after the Eid-El-Fitri festivities.
