Bank Donates Staff Bus To LAWMA

Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), today unveiled a brand new 18-seater Toyota Hiace bus, for staff transportation, donated to the agency by LOTUS Bank, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In his brief speech, the Managing Director/ CEO of LAWMA, Mr. Ibrahim Odumboni, lauded the gesture, describing it as first of its kind, for a financial institution to donate a vehicle for conveying the Authority’s staff to and from work. He said, "To you, it might look like a token, but to us, it means a lot. This staff bus will relieve our staff members of transportation hassles. On behalf of both our junior and adhoc staff, we appreciate you and we look forward to more partnership with you". Eid-el-Fitr: LAWMA Canvasses Environmental Sustainability

Determined to consolidate on its ongoing efforts to rid the state of filth, Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), has called on residents to intentionally work towards ensuring cleaner and livable environment, during and after the forthcoming Eid-el-Fitr festivities. The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of LAWMA, Mr. Ibrahim Odumboni, made the call in his office at Ijora, Lagos, on Monday, adding that the Authority’s sanitation workers and waste managers, had been mandated to work relentlessly across the metropolis, to ensure a filth-free Fitr celebration.
